Pavel Ekrias (b.1987) graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 from The Institute of Design and Fine Arts in Lahti.
Movement has a crucial part in his production. Ekrias is interested in the nature of the materials – how different materials compliment and shape each other and give in to creating space and movement.
Experiential emotion and the study of the parallelism of mechanical and organic are the main themes uniting his production. With his pieces Ekrias seeks to create holistic experiences as well as concrete spaces part of which the viewer can become.
